L'une des particularités de l'écriture de Marguerite Duras, dans laquelle les silences sont induits, est d'avoir été contée. Les lectures publiques de l'auteur évoquent ainsi une lenteur, une pesanteur. Il en est de même pour ses films où la contemplation et la torpeur sont récurrentes. Cette tension planante rappelle la dialectique de la présence et de l'absence. Inspirée par l'univers durassien, je suis partie sur les plaines du Barrage à la recherche de l'Amant chinois.
